Ms. Peavy is counsel in the firm's Columbia office.

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Colgate University in 1995. Following graduation, she worked for several years in the public relations industry in New York. She attended the University of South Carolina School of Law and received her juris doctor degree in 2001. While in law school, she was an associate editor of the South Carolina Environmental Law Journal (now the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal).

Ms. Peavy's practice areas include trial and appellate litigation in the insurance coverage, class action, and commercial areas. She has also represented homeowners in claims arising from defective construction and termite infestation, as well as consumer disputes involving RESPA; the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code; and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As part of her trial practice, Ms. Peavy handles a select number of personal injury cases each year.
