Wilson McDonald is a shareholder with the firm in its Columbia, South Carolina office. Wilson's practice focuses on business and commercial transactions, real estate, consumer finance regulatory compliance and representing lenders in various credit finance matters. Prior to joining the firm, Wilson served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel to Lime Financial Services, Ltd. ("Lime"), a Credit Suisse (USA), Inc. subsidiary. Wilson was responsible for all legal and compliance functions for the company and during his tenure helped it expand from a small regional company to a national lender. Previously, Wilson served as Vice President - Marketing and Underwriting for South Carolina for Investors Title Insurance Company where he provided legal and underwriting services and support to a state-wide network of approved attorneys and title agents; managed the state office; and taught numerous seminars on title insurance and real estate related topics. Wilson has experience in all aspects of mortgage lending, consumer finance regulatory compliance and real estate transactions. Both as a prior in-house counsel to national and regional companies and in his private practice he has handled all types of legal matters that any corporation may face.
